MMM: The new neutral leather jacket

It’s my birthday today – yay! I have spent weeks deciding what to ask for from my husband because I *need* a few things that can really only be justified as a birthday / Christmas present rather than a ‘sod it, treat yourself’ present.

For months I have been debating whether or not to go for the Whistles ‘Lita’ leather jacket. Available in classic black, it also comes in grey and navy blue which gives an old classic a modern twist. I really liked the idea of grey after seeing leather bikers on these stylish ladies:

I finally decided on the grey – a huge thank you to my husband and my in-laws for getting it for me. I’m going to be wearing mine with full midi-skirts and crew neck knits.

PS I got a brilliant fashion present from my mum and dad too – particularly brilliant if you hate ironing like me. My Fridja clothes steamer was on offer through Achica, but you can get them online elsewhere. I have wanted one for ages after using them on every fashion shoot I have ever been on and realising they would cut down my own ironing time by HOURS.
